Elai's 4 month milestone was Christmas day and our doctor's office at the time wouldn't allow a well baby visit during those weeks because they were working with a fewer number of employees. Sadly, this meant his immunizations got thrown off. Cut to two months later and we see us scrambling to find a doctor/figure out what the next step is.
Well, today we had his 6 month well-baby checkup. He looks good, but small. He is at 1% for weight and 17% for height. The doctor is a little concerned with how small he is so we are going in in a month to get another round of shots and to have him weighed. Hopefully he puts on weight. If not, there might be something else going on. She mentioned she has a lot of babies she looks after that are low in weight but perfectly healthy, though.
Elai got his next round of immunizations, which was so painful to watch! Elai is currently getting lots of attention from his daddy and when I get home from work he will from me as well. I hate that terrible little cry he makes!
